The Challenge

How might we enable connection without the complexity and distraction of smartphones?

The Solution

A compact paired device that buzzes when pressed, allowing two linked units to communicate through a simple tactile signal. It removes the need for young children to carry a phone and offers an alternative way for parents, siblings or close friends to stay connected.

The Challenge

Complex recycling rules lead to contamination and low diversion rates. Users struggle to remember which materials go where.

The Solution

An automated smart-sorting bin system that identifies and separates waste streams internally. It reduces the need for user knowledge of recycling rules while still providing guidance and education when the system is not available.
